Dissemination

The main events organised to share the intellectual outputs of the LangSkills project with a wider audience are the seminars on teaching English to learners with hearing loss and the project’s final conference. Further efforts of the partnership to disseminate the project’s outputs include conference papers, promotion videos, leaflets and other activities.

1. Final conference

The final conference is an opportunity to disseminate the project’s outputs as well as to meet for all those interested in leading an international discussion and exchange of views in the area of (language) learning, internationalization and mobilities of students with hearing loss.

2. Seminar on teaching English to deaf and hard of hearing learners 

These national seminars are intended primarily for teachers working with deaf and hard of hearing students and all audiences interested in this area. The aim of the seminars is to present and share the project outputs and to open a debate on the language education of deaf and hard of hearing learners.

The LangSkills partners (ELTE, MU, UCLan and TUWien) host their own respective national seminars.

The British and the Austrian seminars were cancelled due to the outbreak of the covid-19 pandemic.
