Students with psychological difficulties and chronic diseases

Chronic health issues, mental or physical, represent one of the types of difficulties which make university studies difficult or even discourage from them. In case of problems or misgivings, it is usually possible to find a way to overcome the difficulties and successfully finish your studies, e.g. in cases of mood disorders, schizophrenia, autism spectrum disorders, multiple sclerosis, diabetes, oncological and other diseases.

To those interested we offer counseling services, it is also possible to arrange individual changes to study conditions via the Students’ Office (see Adaptation of classes) or to be granted an individual study plan (see Study regulations). If you wish to have your examination adapted (see Examinations, colloquia and credits) please inform the Students’ Office of the Teiresias Centre at least a week prior to the exam date.

If you wish to arrange a consultation, please contact our pedagogical and psychological counsellors, Mgr. Iva Oulehlová and Mgr. Miroslav Zítko (for contact information see Staff).
