12. 5. 2025

Ladies and gentlemen,

we would like to inform you about the changes in study room reservations during the exam period.

In the week of 12–18 May 2025, several events will take place at the Teiresias Centre premises (12–16 May: international meeting of university counselling staff, 17 May: National Comparative Exams, 18 May: accessibility conference) and at the same time the examination period starts with the 'credit week'.

During this week, therefore, no study rooms of the Teiresias Centre will be available for students on weekdays between 7 am and 7 pm ( previously made bookings will be deleted on Monday, 12 May). In the evening and at night, it will be possible to book study rooms (check the Timetable app for their current availability). On Saturday, 17 May, study rooms will not be available at all, i.e. not even in the evening and night hours, and on Sunday, 18 May, study rooms will not be available until 5 pm.

As of May 19, 2025, the following changes will be in effect:

  1. In the examination period (May 19, 2025 – June 29, 2025), only the following study rooms are available for self-study: 109, 110, 114, 115 (study rooms 105, 106, 107, 108, 117, 118 are reserved for test administration).
  2. It will no longer be possible to reserve an entire study room for self-study, but only a workplace in a study room (valid for study rooms 109, 110, 114, 115). You can find more information about individual workplaces below. Reservations are still made in the same way via the Timetable app, where you select a specific workplace after logging in. Reservation of all workplaces in a study room by one student is not allowed. If you need a study room for a group study, please contact your student counsellor
  3. During weekends, rooms reserved for test administration (105–108, 117, and 118) will also be available for self-study with the following rules:
  • Study rooms will be divided into individual workplaces (two in each classroom).
  • Reservations will only be available for the nearest weekend (i.e. 6 pm Friday to 6 am Monday). All other reservations will be deleted.
  • The study rooms will always be open from Friday 6 pm to Monday morning.
  • The Teiresias Centre reserves the right not to make the study rooms available if holding an event (entrance exams, conferences, etc.).

Kindly move your already made reservations for entire study rooms (these reservations will not be visible to others).

The option to book individual workplaces will be available in the Timetable app from Friday, May 16 (with the option to make bookings valid from the following week). On Monday, May 19, your reservations in study rooms pre-reserved for tests will be deleted (except for weekend reservations).

At the same time, we remind you of the basic rules for the use of the study rooms of the Teiresias Centre and ask you to respect them. Repeated violations of these rules may lead to blocking your access to the study rooms.
