DysTest — Privacy Policy

The DysTest test battery made by Masaryk University together with partners and cooperating authors, is designed for psychologists, special needs educators, psycholinguists and others (hereinafter referred to as Diagnosticians) to diagnose specific learning difficulties of university students and applicants for study (hereinafter as Diagnosed Persons). The DysTest app is an integral part of the test battery and is intended to be used by Diagnosticians. The app is for free, however only those users who have contracted an License Agreement between the user and Masaryk University, are entitled to use the app (see www.teiresias.muni.cz/dystest). All features of the app are available only for authenticated users.

This document is used to inform the DysTest app users and website visitors (hereinafter as Service) regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information.

The Personal Information Collected and Used by the Service

  1. Personal and Professional Information of Diagnosticians who have contracted the License Agreement:
    • it is collected by Masaryk University
    • it is for purpose of identification of the License Agreement party and for providing technical support from the side of Masaryk University to Diagnosticians
  2. Personal Information of Diagnosed Persons:
    • it is collected by Diagnostician within the app
    • it is for purpose of identification of Diagnosed Persons on a final diagnostic report
    • it is stored only on a Diagnostician’s electronic device which the app is installed on
    • it is not transmitted out of the device and it is not shared to anybody else (Masaryk University neither)
  3. Diagnostic data and final diagnostic report of Diagnosed Persons:
    • it is collected by Diagnostician within the app during the process of diagnostics
    • it is stored only on a Diagnostician’s electronic device which the app is installed on
    • it is not transmitted out of the device and it is not shared to anybody else (Masaryk University neither)
    • this also applies to audio recordings that Diagnostician may record using relevant feature of the app.
  4. Anonymized diagnostic data and final diagnostic report of Diagnosed Persons:
    • they may be transmitted from a Diagnostician’s electronic device to Masaryk University servers; this transmission can be launched within the app and only on explicit order of Diagnostician.
    • they are for purpose of making the statistical model of the Dystest test battery more accurate; Masaryk University does not share the data to anybody else

Third Party Services

Our Service (both the app and website) do not use any third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device’s internal memory.

The Dystest app does not use these cookies.

The Dystest website uses cookies to anonymously identify the session of a user in his/her browser to enable functioning the features of personal profile on the website. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use the aforementioned feature of the website.

Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use all acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100 % secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. Children’s Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
