Description: The workshop is to familiarize participants with Sound forge, one of the most popular professional audio editors. Participants will learn how to record and process audio signal and how to create audio presentations. These presentations will be results of their work. Aims: The workshop should give participants the basic information in audio editing and processing. It will be explained at creating audio presentation. W/S plan: - Analog and digital sound - Sound card, device for recording digital audio and its setup for recording and playback - Attributes of digital sound - Sound forge environment - Basic operations: record, playback, navigation, selecting, basic editing... - Advanced edit and process dialogs, preview and undo - Mastering and finalizing of audio presentation Students pre-requests: The students should be experienced in Windows - working with Windows applications. Windows environment knowledge is necessary. JAWS experience is essential.
