Description:
This workshop is focused on creating multimedia publications based on principles of Hybrid Book, which is similar to DTB (Digital Text Book) or such systems, but has special improvements for comprehensive text acces. The participants will get familiar with Orange Editor, the application originated on Masaryk University of Brno. They will also create their own small hybrid book.

Aims:
In the end of this workshop the participants will be able to produce hybrid books using Orange Editor.

1. Explanation of the basic principles of Hybrid Book technology
2. Gathering the material
3. Preparing the text
4. Preparing the audio
5. Compiling
6. Creating the CD with publication

Prerequisites:
Windows basics, text editing basics(!)

Hardware:
PCs (at least 1 PC with CD recorder), microphone with stand

Windows, Orange Editor, audio recording software, CD burning software
