Name of Workshop: File Managing in Total Commander Workshop Leader: Masilko Lukas Workshop Leader's Experience and Background: Lukas has studied informatics at Brno University. He works at Support Centre for Students with Special Needs at the same university. He is a consultant for special IT, he teaches mathmatics and informatics as well. Country: Czech Republic Co-tutors (if needed) Description: This workshop focuses on the basic operations with files and folders in Windows using Total Commander. The participants will get familiar with the notions of file, folder and the folder structure. They will learn about the basic functions of this program and they will have the chance to try it in practice. Week: second week Target group: both in separated groups Type of Workshop: hands on Aims/Objectives: After the completion of this workshop, the participants will know how to operate one of the most common file managers - the Total Commander, they will be able to create a folder, to copy, compress or rename a file.
