He studies at the faculty of informatics and cooperates with Blind & Partially Sighted Students Centre at Brno University. He participated to the previous ICCs. Participants will learn how to control Cakewalk with using special set of JAWS scripts called CAKETALKING. Participants will try to create their own small composition. Aims: The workshop should give participants the basic information in creating music on PC and it should invoke their interest for this activity. W/S plan: - soundcard as a musical instrument - MIDI - Cakewalk environment - tracks, channels, measures and other important terminology - Caketalking - working with Cakewalk and Caketalking - creating own composition Students pre-requests: The students should be experienced in Windows - working with Windows applications. Windows environment knowledge is necessary. JAWS experience is essential.
