Simple web pages will be used. All the topics will be explained and trained with Microsoft Internet Explorer and JAWS. Aims: Students should get acknowledge how to read and navigate a web page document, they will know the differences between a HTML document and a plain text document. How to use and navigate Internet Explorer. When it is useful to get information from Internet, when not. W/S plan: - introduction to web pages document structure - how to read HTML document - unaccessible parts of HTML documents - Microsoft Internet Explorer - its basic functions - basic functions of JAWS in reading a web document - internet address - its structure Students pre-requests: The students should be experienced in Windows - working with basic Windows applications. Experience in e-mail is suitable. They should have knowledges of the principles of Windows environment with JAWS and braille display (braille reading knowledge is expected, of course).
