E-mailing for Beginners Subtitle: Using Outlook Express Participants: 3 Description: Have you ever wanted to set up and use Outlook Express but just don't know how? Perhaps you are new to e-mail or not very familiar with the many features it provides - then this workshop is for you! In this workshop you will find out: How e-mail works (e.g. SMTP and POP3 server), how to create a new email, send it, reply to a mail you have received, forward a mail to somebody else, join an attachment to a mail and to work with the address book in Outlook Express. You will also be shown how to set the Outlook Express to your own addresses and how to "tune it according to your taste". Leader: Miroslava Kuvikova; Czech Republic Co-tutors: Needed Target group: Braile users Prerequisites: The participants should be familiar with the keyboard and they should be able to work with Windows (basic skills) and with JAWS (basic skills). Hardware: PCs, Internet connection Software: Outlook Express 5.5 or higher, for each participant of this workshop create an email address, also the local SMTP server is needed to be able to send mails.
