Name of Workshop: AutoIT, the scripting language Workshop Leader: Hegr, Jan Workshop Leader's Experience and Background: Jan is a consultant of special IT for visually impaired users, especially for university students. He studies at the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University. Jan participated to the previous ICCs as a participant and tutor as well. Country: Czech Republic Co-tutors (if needed): Description: AutoIT is the simple but powerful scripting language helping users to automate their repetitive tasks. The workshop will kick students to the world of algoritmic thinking and programming. Week: second week Target group: Braile users Type of Workshop: hands on Aims/Objectives: Students will come in touch with the algoritmic thinking and will learn the basics of programming. Later they should think about their work and should be able to write their own script to make that work more effective.
