Date: 29 January 2011 Place:Prague, big sports gym, Pod Juliskou street 4, Prague 6 - Dejvice
Both Czech teams played the first match in the official league guaranteed by the Czech Blind Sportsmen Association. The opening match of the 2011 league season was hosted by the team BFC Prague that was missing only one player, the injured defender Jiří Sedláček. On the contrary, the team Avoy MU Brno was weakened by two players, the forward Matěj Plch and the first goalkeeper Martin Jelínek, who were both ill. The beginning of the match was cautious on both sides and Lukáš Valer was the first to draw attention when he missed the goal with a shot from an angle which scared the spectators sitting behind the goal of Avoy MU Brno. BFC Prague players celebrated the opening goal of the match in the middle of the first halftime. Lukáš Valer again managed to win the ball at the right hand sidekick and his surprising shot from ten meters left no chance for Milan Duda in the goal of the Brno team. The ball swept the left corner of the goal. Avoy MU Brno forwards tried to equalize, but they were ineffective as they either shot at the goal too early and from a bad position, or they lost the ball due to unforced errors. "We were surprised by the big gym. Our players are used to a more contact game on a smaller field," said Lukáš Pazderka, the coach of Avoy MU Brno after the match.
After the interval, Brno players after all managed to equalize. Jiří Fenz guided the attack in the mid-field and he was stopped by the defending duo Bodiš and Schejbalová. Although he lost control of the ball for a moment, he managed to catch it before his opponents and he shot towards the right post from a face to face position towards the goalkeeper Edita Millerová. The score remained equal for ten minutes. Deep in the defense half, Lukáš Valer won the ball and despite a foul from Aleš Moravec he managed to escape his guards. The referees left the Prague team with an advantage and Lukáš could continue his attack. Jan Hegr and Katka Lingová, the Avoy MU Brno defenders, responded too late and they let Lukáš pass all the way to Milan Duda's goal. The shot towards the right hand post was impossible to catch, especially as the shooter was five meters from the goal. Avoy MU Brno team tried to equalize, but they nearly received a third goal when Lukáš Valer appeared on the border of the penalty area. However, Milan Duda in the goal caught his quick shot with bravura. Towards the end of the match, Brno players had several corner kicks in a row but they did not manage to score the desired goal. The team BFC Prague deserved the win 2 - 1 because of the careful defense and ability to score from promising chances, mainly by Lukáš Valer, the best player of the match.
