Hardware and software loans
The Special ICT Section aims to keep up with the developments in special hardware and software for the visually impaired and to acquire these technologies, so that a suitable working environment can be created at Masaryk University for any visually impaired applicant and student. Main characteristics of these technologies can be found in the overview below; they are available in the Center's study room (or upon request from the Special ICT Section staff). In case of urgent need (should someone's own equipment become unusable, or in case of delays in the administrative process when applying for a government grant for special equipment etc.) the equipment can be temporarily borrowed by individuals, for which signing a written contract is required.
