The 13th year of the ICC was hosted by the Bradenburg School for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Königs Wusterhausen, Germany. The facility provided accommodation and meals, and most of the program took place there as well. About thirty workshops were available for the participants, as well as several leisure time activities, which included a visit to the German cosmopolitan capital - Berlin, tandem bike rides, boat rides and swimming in the school's pool. During the traditional free day the participants went on a boat trip on the river Spree, which provided views of the beautiful nature reserve Spreewald. After that the group traveled several kilometers to the Nature clock, where the visually impaired studied various materials, sounds, plants and foods, using their senses of smell, touch and hearing.
