The second time the Teiresiás Center coordinated the Czech national participation in the ICC was in Loughborough in mid-England in 2002. Compared to the previous year in Slovenia, slightly smaller groups came to England; on the other hand, more seminars were prepared (lecturers from Masaryk University presented seminars on Advanced Wordprocessing, Basic Internet, Creating Music with Cakewalk and English Language Dictionaries on the Internet). The group traveled to Loughborough, a smaller town in the county of Leicestershire hosting the event this year, by bus. The camp was placed in modern well-equipped residence halls of the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB). Our leisure time program included a one-day excursion to the Black Country Living Museum – an open-air museum displaying an exhibition on the history of local mining activity. The evenings were spent in various sports activities (a visit of a water park, indoor wall climbing, minibike driving, rowing, bowling).
