Athens (Greece, 2010)
The sixteenth year of the ICC took place in Athens, the capital of Greece, as it was hosted by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. As usual, the facility provided accommodation and meals, and most of the program took place there as well. In cooperation with the ICC technical team, the institute prepared a number of powerful computers with special equipment for the visually impaired. During the five days the participants attended IT and communication oriented workshops and took part in leisure time activities in the evenings, such as the visit of the Tactual Museum of Athens, the Acropolis, the city center and many other interesting places. Besides that an evening program consisting of various social games was arranged in the accommodation facility. In the traditional free day the participants visited the Athens zoo and attended a dolphin show, they toured the temple of Poseidon, went swimming in the sea and had a typical Greek dinner.
