Touches of Shape

The Touches of Shape exhibition consisted of an interesting collection of tactile objects which were created in Teiresias Center for the use of visually impaired MU students. It included 3D models of some parts of the learning potential tests (entrance exam tests for MU applicants), tactile maps and other tactile teaching aids as well as tactile books produced by Teiresias Center including prints including tactile graphics (e.g. Star Constellations for the Blind, Physics for Grammar Schools or Elections Geography). Part of the exhibition were also stylized photographs by Michaela Hanousková, who has been taking a record of tactile artefacts created for the needs of handicapped students for several years.
